BioSyl 2024 will be held in Grenoble on the theme of "Computational Cancer Biology". This is an interdisciplinary event focusing on large-scale data analysis in cancer biology. It is designed to bring together bioinformaticians, computational biologists, experimental biologists and clinicians, and to foster new collaborations within the AURA region, as part of the BioSyL research structure.

BioSyL 2024 is a one day event, with two invited keynote speakers, including a well-known speaker who is carrying out his research in the Lyon-Grenoble area. Presentations are also opened to researchers and students from the region. Speakers will be selected by a scientific board composed of interdisciplinary researchers from Grenoble and Lyon. During the day, time will be dedicated to informal exchanges between participants, to encourage scientific discussions and foster new collaboration. To facilitate and encourage participation, we are planning to make the event free of charge, and to charter a bus from Lyon.

BioSyL is a Federative Research Structure for Systems Biology in Lyon/Grenoble/Saint-Etienne. It gathers about 50 local research teams working on systems biology in its most varied aspects. Its objectives are to federate these teams, to make them visible and to promote research done in systems biology, as well as local skills in this field. BioSyL days are organized yearly to bring together researchers from Lyon, Grenoble and Saint-Etienne area, in order to encourage exchanges in the region. Past BioSyl day was organized in Lyon in September 2022 and gathered around 50 participants to discuss research in systems biology (http://www.biosyl.org/news/biosyl-day).

Registration is free but mandatory.

Registration is open from December 20, 2023 to march 1, 2024, up to 100 participants.

Abstract submission (for talks and poster) is open from December 20, 2023 to February 19 (updated), 2024.
